Tenbury Hospital is a forward-thinking community hospital supporting our local population and the acute services from Worcester and Hereford. We provide inpatient services, a minor injury unit and an outpatient department.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate team player to work within the Administration Team. The Administration Team carry out a variety of duties, covering reception, ward administration including admitting and discharging patients, scanning, booking transport and appointments, managing patient records and a variety of general administration tasks, supporting the clinical staff and patients. Each day will be different, and the role will involve working across all administrative functions within the team.
As you will be working directly with our patients and relatives you will be required to adhere to confidentiality and data protection policies at all times.
Please note the Trust is unable to provide sponsorship to work for this role, to apply you must have current right to work in the UK status. Employment on a time limited visa doesn't guarantee sponsorship at point of expiry.
Main duties of the job
You will need to be a team player, with a flexible can do approach together with the ability to prioritise your own workload. We will provide the successful candidate with appropriate training in the necessary processes and Trust IT systems and ongoing support in their use.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, administrative, and organisational skills and be able to demonstrate initiative.
The role will involve a variety of administrative tasks as set out in the job description.
You will need to be able to work as part of a team and be efficient and organised with your own workload.
