We are looking for a resilient, robust, self motivated clerical officer to join our clerical team. The successful applicant will provide support to several services including the Admission Avoidance Team, Health & Care Hub, Single Point of Access (SPA) and the Hospital@Home teamPlease note: This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application, as we are unable to support visa applications for this position.
Main duties of the job
Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and Bolton Borough Council are working in partnership to deliver efficient and effective patient-centred, integrated services across the health economy to reduce hospital admissions and support people to remain at home.
In order to meet this objective, we are seeking to appoint a Clerical Officer who is a flexible individual with excellent communication, IT and organisational skills to become part of the clerical team within the Community Services Division.
The posts are 37.5 hours per week over 365 days including all bank holidays on a rota basis . The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate a flexible approach to working hours to cover the service at times of peak pressure.
Duties will include: Processing referrals, inputting data, taking telephone queries, preparing reports, booking appointments, cancelling clinics photocopying and other general office duties.
Experience of working within healthcare would be preferable, however full training will be provided for the successful candidate(s)
