There is a need for clinical experience or equivalent in clinical gait analysis. Further training is encouraged within the team and staff development is paramount to our success.
Sitting within the Directorate of Medical Imaging & Medical Physics (MIMP), the Department of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering (MPCE) employs almost 200 staff, providing a variety of scientific and clinical services to the Trust. Evidence of audit and research experience would be an advantage as the group also has an active research portfolio.
The post is open to applicants who are registered as a Clinical Scientist with the HCPC with clinical experience or equivalent in Clinical Gait Analysis.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for a HCPC registered Clinical Scientists with clinical experience in Clinical Gait Analysis (CGA). We are seeking to recruit a full time band 7 Clinical Scientist to the Specialist Scientific Physiological Services (SSPS) to support the scientific team who provide scientific support to the Sheffield Children's Gait Lab which will shortly be moving to the new NCCHT site. The SCH Lab is accredited with the Clinical Movement Analysis Society (CMAS) and the post holder will be expected to assist the scientific team to maintain this accreditation as well as providing expert scientific support to the service.
