SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR with Medical Secretary Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced Senior Administrator/Medical Secretary to work as part of a team to support our growing team of Community Paediatricians across three centres The role offers significant exposure to a wide range of clinical and administrative processes, providing an excellent platform for professional development and career progression in an NHS environment. The role would be particularly suited to someone who is keen to take on new challenges (including supervision and line management) As part of our commitment to developing our workforce, the successful candidate will have opportunities to broaden their knowledge of specialist children's services, develop advanced administrative and digital skills, and contribute to service improvement initiatives. Main duties of the job

Your main responsibilities will be to provide comprehensive medical administrative support, working closely with Community Paediatricians and the wider clinical teams within Children's Specialist Services. In return, we can offer you:

Job description

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Advanced typing and formatting skills
  • Previous NHS administration experience at a Senior level
  • Excellent time management skills to manage a busy workload
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong and clear communication skills
  • Initiative and problem-solving abilities
  • Energetic, flexible and proactive approach
  • Experience of SystmOne/AMSPAR desirable.
  • A pioneering approach, welcoming and embedding digital innovations to improve administrative processes and streamline efficiencies
  • An inclusive, 'one team' approach to supporting colleagues and service users
  • A caring attitude, supporting patients and colleagues with kindness and professionalism at all times
