About The Role -
We are recruiting a Service Improvement Project Officer to join our Corporate Transformation & Delivery Team.
This is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.
Tower Hamlets Council is seeking an experienced and ambitious Service Improvement Project Officerto join our Transformation Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering a portfolio of high impact transformation and efficiency programmes across Adult Social Care (ASC).
Working collaboratively with Adult Social Care, the wider Corporate Transformation Team, and colleagues across a wide range of directorates and services, you will support colleagues to lead the design and delivery of complex and impactful transformation initiatives and programmes. Your work will improve outcomes for residents, enhance service quality, drive efficiencies, and support the Council's strategic priorities. This is an opportunity for a talented project officer who is passionate about public service, thrives in complex environments, and has a proven track record of delivering sustainable change.

About You
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Strong programme and project management skills, with a proven ability to successfully deliver complex projects, managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience delivering transformation, change, or improvement programmes within local government, health and social care, or a similarly complex environment.
Experience in working on saving and efficiency projects, especially around Adult Social Care
Strong collaborative skills - you will be great at building relationships at all levels of the organisation and be able to bring people on board with key areas of your work.
A clear and concise communicator
The ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
A proactive, self-motivated approach
This role operates on a hybrid basis and includes a mandatory office “anchor day.” You will also be required to attend the office whenever service needs dictate.
