Role Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality, inclusive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, that engage, challenge, and support all learners.

Create a safe, welcoming, and positive classroom environment where diversity is celebrated, and every student feels respected and capable of success.

Assess, track, and support individual student progress, providing constructive feedback that nurtures confidence and continuous improvement.

Build strong, respectful working relationships with students, colleagues, families, and the wider community.

Contribute to curriculum development, team planning, and the broader extra-curricular life of the school.

Actively engage in continuous professional development (CPD) and contribute to whole-school initiatives.

What we are looking for

Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent, along with a degree in a relevant discipline.

Experience of working in a UK school environment in either a teaching or classroom support capacity.

Inclusive Mindset: A deep commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring every child receives the tailored support they need to thrive.

Subject Passion: A genuine love for your subject and the ability to bring the curriculum to life in meaningful, creative ways.

Positive Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal and behaviour management skills rooted in empathy, positive reinforcement, and high expectations.

Team Player: A collaborative attitude, eagerness to share best practice, and a willingness to contribute positively to our school culture.
