Cowley International College has a long history of providing exceptional sport and PE opportunities for Year 7 – 13 students. The college has strong links with professional sporting organisations including St Helens Rugby League. Saints have their training facilities within our college and provides a unique partnership that is aspirational for students and the community. The students have opportunities to study PE at GCSE, BTEC and A level and participate and learn various sports in and out of lessons.

The college has excellent facilities including a sport hall, Gymnasium , 3G sports pitches, hard court area, a cricket pitch and 3 Rugby pitches. This post offers a fantastic opportunity for an ECT or an experienced teacher.

We are looking for a team player with aspirations of leadership who are committed to students learning and can inspire students across KS3, KS4 and KS5 for academic and sporting excellence.

The successful candidate will have:

Skills and knowledge of teaching at KS3 and KS4 and an interest in developing this at KS5

The energy and enthusiasm to motivate and inspire students of all abilities

Strong subject knowledge off the PE curriculum

A determination to achieve exceptional results

A firm commitment to extra-curricular and enrichment for all students

Skills to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
