Position:Support Worker

Location: Gawcott, Buckingham

Salary: £16,110 per annum

Hours: Part-time (22.5 hours per week)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Old Barn, a registered care home for four adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities.

As a Support Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support, helping people feel respected, included and empowered to develop independence and achieve their personal goals. You will work closely with colleagues, families and professionals, valuing collaboration to create a safe and positive home environment.

About the role

You will:

Support people with daily living skills, activities and personal care

Promote independence, choice and dignity

Help individuals work towards their goals and aspirations

Support medication, health, safety and wellbeing

Contribute to care plans, risk assessments and mentoring new staff

About you

You will bring experience in care or support, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to help others thrive. You will communicate well, work flexibly across shifts, and share our commitment to respect, inclusion and empowerment.

Holds a care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
