The main duties of the role include the following, supporting the clinicians within the clinics . Caring for patients with empathy and compassion, including chaperoning, taking blood, Microscopy, supporting the patients with taking samples and swabs.
Main duties of the job
- Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of a clean and safe clinical area.
- To actively promote and signpost sexual health services and general health promotion services. As part of this post the expected to work flexibly work across Derby City and County clinics.
- Understand the patient need and respond accordingly by adapting to a variety of clinical presentations.
- Working effectively with a multidisciplinary team including doctors, nurses, HCA colleagues, Sexual Health Promotion and senior leaders to ensure safe and effective care.
