Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to bring your professional registration, experience, and leadership skills to a service that makes a real difference. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate leader with strong communication, organisational abilities, and a commitment to supporting and developing staff.

As a key member of the CPFT YOUnited partnership, you will lead and supervise CAMHS clinical staff, champion high standards of care, and contribute to ongoing service development. Our service continues to evolve, and we are dedicated to ensuring that Children, Young People and their Families remain at the centre of everything we do.

The YOUnited Hub processes non-crisis referrals of children and young people referred. Triaging each referral for risk and making decisions about whether referral meets the threshold for specialist CAMHS pathways, a trusted assessment within the "getting more help" CAMHS interventions pathways, or a "getting help" partners intervention pathway, or signposting the referral to the appropriate service or offer suitable advice working within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the Referral Hub's policies and procedures.

If you are passionate about high-quality care and eager to make a positive impact, we would love to hear from you.

Liaise with partner agencies and stakeholders, including commissioners, to support the access of children and young people to appropriate emotional health, welling being and mental health services.

Lead on the recruitment and supervision of staff, operating within the available resources to achieve the required targets.

Lead on the establishment, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures.

To provide advice and consultation on children and young people's mental health care to colleagues and partner agencies and to other non-professional carers, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
