Main duties of the job

Join Elizabeth Court as a Support Worker where you can make a difference by helping individuals with learning disabilities live independently. Days are varied, involving everything from personal care to community outings based on individual interests. The role offers a competitive hourly wage, referral bonuses, and extensive training with room for career development. You will work in a supportive environment, focusing on person-centred care and building long-term relationships. Essential qualities include patience, a caring approach, and teamwork, with previous experience preferred but not required. Who youll support:Youll be supporting multiple individuals with learning disabilities at Elizabeth Court in Dorchester, helping them thrive and live as independently as possible. Youll help with personal care and daily routines, while building meaningful, lasting connections. From supporting days out in the community to holidays and new experiences,

Youll ensure their care is truly person-centred, respecting their choices, promoting their safety and helping them do the things they love most.

Your role:

• Provide person-centred support and personal care
• Encourage activities and meaningful experiences
• Support communication in a way that works for them
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate records
• Promote independence, safety, and wellbeing
