Main duties of the job

As a Senior Night Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents in a care home setting. Your role involves supervising and inspiring a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You will also support the clinical team, involving yourself in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews. A warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed individual is sought, holding an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, with knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. Opportunities for career development are provided through ongoing training, with the potential to advance into roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing positions.
