ABOUT THE ROLE As a Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, which will include training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift. Main duties of the job

Additionally, you will assist with administering and ordering medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans, and liaising with GPs and district nursing teams. Respecting the dignity and preferences of our residents is a priority, and you will contribute to creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment. The role requires an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. Previous experience in a residential care setting is essential, along with proven team leadership skills. This position offers opportunities for career development, with many Senior Carer Assistants progressing into Care Practitioners or other roles.

ABOUT YOU

You'll have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities, so there's no limit to how far you can go with us. Many of our Senior Carer Assistants progress into Care Practitioners, Care Community Leads or on to nursing pathways.
