  • EYFS Learning Support Assistant (Level 2)
  • Learning Support Assistant (Level 2)
  • Learning Support Assistant (Level 3)

The Role
Depending on the level, successful candidates will:

  • Support pupils' learning individually and in groups, in and out of school hours.
  • Help pupils access the curriculum, including those with special or individual learning needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour, self-esteem and independence.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with pupils, acting as a positive role model.
  • Assist in preparing resources and maintaining a purposeful, engaging learning environment.
  • Support the teacher in monitoring, recording and feeding back on pupil progress.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold our values.

Level 3 candidates will also take on a broader role, assisting with lesson planning, evaluating pupil responses to learning, and occasionally supervising classes during short-term staff absence.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), appropriate to the role applied for.
  • Has experience of working with primary-aged or early years children.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is patient, flexible and enthusiastic.
  • Has high expectations of behaviour, learning and achievement.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team while using their own initiative.
  • Shares our commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and ensuring every child succeeds.
