Job summary

NHS North Central London Integrated Care Board (NCL ICB) is a statutory body responsible for planning and allocating health and care resources to improve the lives of people in our five boroughs: Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Islington.

We are looking for an experienced and organised Complex Care Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis to support the effective delivery of the Continuing Healthcare (CHC) Appeals process and assist with the clearance of a backlog of appeals.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and/or complex care who can work independently, manage competing priorities and ensure appeals are progressed accurately, transparently and within agreed timescales.

This is a full-time temporary role of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. There is some flexibility around start and finish times; however, this is not a part-time position.

We are specifically looking for candidates with previous experience working in Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and/or complex care.

Complex Care Administrator:o Will provide a high-quality service for CLCH to support in the effective delivery of the Continuing Healthcare (CHC) Appeals process, and back log clearance.o Will be the first point of contact for all CHC appeals.o Will liaise with clinicians, appellants and/or their representatives, and NHS England to ensure all appeals regarding Continuing Healthcare are robust, transparent, and timely.o Will independently co-ordin ate appeals within set time scales. The post holder will collect and collate all data relating to appeals completion and present reports.
