About the Role

In this exciting position, you will play a key role in advancing the University’s strategy, championing technology-enhanced teaching and learning. Your primary focus will be to support and nurture a culture of innovation in pedagogy, making Queen Mary’s distinctive approach a cornerstone of our educational practices. You will work collaboratively with Faculties, Schools, and Institutes to deliver on their educational priorities through comprehensive resources, consultancy, and workshops.

Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering engaging blended content, integrating digital pedagogies across academic programmes, and supporting the development of active learning methods to boost student engagement. You will be instrumental in creating an integrated training and development system, encompassing workshops, events, and forums, all aimed at fostering continuous educator development. You will contribute to scholarship development, evaluating impact, and supporting initiatives such as Queen Mary Academy Fellowships, funded projects, and the annual Festival of Education.

You are a passionate advocate for innovative education, with a strong background in pedagogy and digital technologies. Your experience in designing and delivering professional development programmes and your ability to inspire and support educators are key assets.
