Support the successful delivery of a portfolio of research projects by coordinating project operations, managing administration and working closely with academic staff and stakeholders.
About the Role
Working closely with the Principal Investigators, you will coordinate the day-to-day management of research projects, ensuring milestones, reporting requirements, budgets and deliverables are achieved. You will act as a central point of contact for project stakeholders, organise meetings, workshops and events, monitor expenditure and project progress, prepare reports and management information, and support researcher recruitment and project communications.
You will also provide organisational support to the Johnston and Herz research groups, maintain project documentation and websites, collaborate with colleagues across Finance, Research Services, Communications and IT, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-profile research activity.
About You
You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience, with excellent organisational, communication and project coordination skills. You will have experience planning, monitoring and reporting on projects and be confident managing competing priorities. You will be proactive, analytical and detail-oriented, able to work independently while building effective relationships with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders.
You will be proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software. Experience supporting research projects within a higher education environment would be an advantage.
