Innovation Network CoordinatorUniversity

Bath Part time £31,236 - £37,694 a year
Posted 25 August 2026 Closing date 15 September 2026

SETsquared Bath supports ambitious entrepreneurs, innovators and high-growth businesses to start, scale and succeed. As part of the internationally recognised SETsquared Partnership, we bring together founders, researchers, investors, industry experts and partners to create opportunities for collaboration, innovation and growth.

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Innovation Network Coordinator to help grow our community, strengthen engagement across the network, and showcase the success of the people and businesses we support. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering activities that connect people, build engagement and support the continued growth of one of the South West's most dynamic innovation communities.

Working closely with the Centre Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating community engagement activities, communications and events that encourage participation across the SETsquared Bath Network. You will help create a welcoming and valuable experience for members, support the delivery of programmes and events, develop engaging content and success stories, and ensure our communications effectively reach and engage our audiences.

This is a varied and rewarding role that combines community engagement, communications, event coordination and relationship management. You'll work with founders, businesses, academics, students and partners, helping to translate ideas into action and ensuring activities are delivered professionally and effectively.

We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, spotting opportunities and making things happen. You will be trusted to manage day-to-day activities independently and use your judgement to keep projects moving forward, while working closely with the Centre Manager on wider priorities and initiatives.

About you

We're looking for a proactive and organised individual who enjoys working with people, building relationships and making things happen. You will be someone who takes ownership of your work, can confidently manage competing priorities, and is motivated by helping others succeed. Whether your experience comes from business support, events, marketing, membership organisations, higher education or another customer-focused environment, you'll bring strong transferable skills, initiative and a commitment to delivering an outstanding experience for our network and stakeholders.

You'll bring:

A degree or equivalent professional experience.

Experience coordinating projects, programmes, events, communities or stakeholder engagement activities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.

Experience creating engaging content across a range of channels, including newsletters, social media and digital communications.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

The ability to work independently, use initiative and take ownership of tasks and projects.

Excellent relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues, businesses and external partners.

Experience using digital engagement and communication tools such as Mailchimp, LinkedIn, Canva, Eventbrite and Microsoft 365, or similar platforms.

A proactive approach, with the confidence to identify opportunities and drive activities forward.

Creativity, attention to detail and a flair for telling compelling stories that showcase impact and success.
