WorkwithSchools are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for ad hoc, short and long-term SEN roles in primary schools withinYork and across Yorkshire. Our schools team provide opportunities for you to work across a variety of educational settings, helping you to develop your experience in SEND support, inclusive education and 1:1 classroom support.

Ideally, applicants will have experience with:

• Supporting pupils with physical disabilities
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC/ASD), ADHD, or other complex needs

Experience with moving and handling, personal care, and administering medication is highly desirable but not essential.

Previous experience working in mainstream or SEN primary schools, as well as 1:1 SEN support roles, would be advantageous. Our friendly, knowledgeable consultants work closely with our support staff to match candidates with bookings to suit their availability, experience, and preferences.
