Main duties of the job

Join Barnet Lane Clinic as a Housekeeper, ensuring a clean and safe environment for vulnerable individuals. You'll clean all areas including wards, offices, bedrooms, and visitor spaces. Collaborate with the maintenance team to maintain high cleaning standards. Training and career development opportunities are provided. You’ll be working in a specialist Complex Care and Recovery Service (CCRS), supporting adults with complex needs who benefit from a more tailored, long-term recovery approach beyond standard care settings.   This is a Full Time position of 37.5 hours a week. Monday - Friday 8am-4pm.

As a Housekeeper you will be:

• Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital.
• An active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation.
• Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greeting visitors in a professional manner.
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users.
• Helping create a positive culture.
• Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
• Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.

• Have previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment

Barnet Lane’s Complex Care and Recovery Service (CCRS) is a highly specialised, bespoke inpatient adult service designed to support individuals whose needs exceed the scope of traditional inpatient service models. The service specialises in treating patients who have experienced multiple or prolonged admissions, stalled discharge pathways, or who have been unable to progress within conventional care environments.
