Job summary
Riverside Health Partnership seeks a motivated, committed and skilled professional for the position of Health Care Assistant to work with our excellent nursing team under the direction of the Group Practice Manager and GP Partners.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver a high standard of patient care as a Health Care Assistant to the practice population and work collaboratively with the practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.

We are a large, multi-site training practice with 16 GPs, 4 ANPs, 7 PNs, a large pharmacy team, 10 GP Trainees, 3 HCAs and a large, highly performing management team.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Phlebotomy duties including INRs
Perform and record biometric measurements ( BP readings, pulse rate and rhythm, temperature, height, weight)
Provide NHS Health Checks in accordance with the service specification
Perform ECGs
Administer Flu, Pneumococcal and B12 vaccines
Assist GP during Minor Surgery
Perform basic dressing changes
Undertake home visits as appropriate to competence
Greet patients and visitors in a warm, professional manner
