Main duties of the job

The role of Care Assistant at Agincare Homes Holdings is available exclusively to female applicants due to the need to provide personal care to women, ensuring their dignity and privacy are preserved. This position is based at The Croft in Amersham and offers a salary of £12.91 per hour. Although care experience is desirable, it is not essential. Applicants need a minimum of 12 months' right to work in the UK and will work 36 hours a week, including alternate weekends. What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
• This position is working 36 hours per week, to include working alternate weekends
• Experience in care is desirable but not essential
• Shift patterns to be discussed at interview
• Please note this is a day shift position

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care-supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
• Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
• Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
