ABOUT THE ROLE As a Regional Senior Care Assistant with Barchester care homes, you'll deliver warm, empathetic and respectful care and support across a 20-mile radius to help our residents get the most out of life. Main duties of the job
The role of Regional Senior Care Assistant involves delivering warm, empathetic, and respectful care and support across a 20-mile radius. You will monitor the delivery of care, contribute to the person-centred care planning process, and record observations such as temperature and blood pressure. This role is varied and also involves providing companionship and support to residents, ensuring meaningful one-to-one time with them every shift. A background in care and a good understanding of elderly care are essential. A Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care is required, with plans to complete NVQ 3. Strong GCSE results in English and Maths are preferred. You must be dedicated and compassionate, with access to a car for travel and mileage covered when traveling over five miles. We'll cover your mileage when you travel over five miles from your main home, and if you're on duty at the time of an inspection and we achieve a Good' rating, you'll qualify for a bonus.
