A Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care is essential with a view to complete an NVQ 3, a good understanding of the wider healthcare industry is required. Ideally, you'll also have a C or above in GCSE E

Main duties of the job

The role of Regional Senior Care Assistant involves delivering warm, empathetic, and respectful care and support across a 20-mile radius. You will monitor the delivery of care, contribute to the person-centred care planning process, and record observations such as temperature and blood pressure. This role is varied and also involves providing companionship and support to residents, ensuring meaningful one-to-one time with them every shift. A background in care and a good understanding of elderly care are essential. A Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care is required, with plans to complete NVQ 3. Strong GCSE results in English and Maths are preferred. You must be dedicated and compassionate, with access to a car for travel and mileage covered when traveling over five miles.
