What you will be doing:

You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care for men aged 18 years and over who require a period mental health inpatient service, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.

Your day-to-day will include, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.

Where you will be working:

Location:St Mary’s Hospital, Floyd Drive, Warrington, WA2 8DB

St Mary’s Hospital provides care and support for men aged 18 years and over who require a period of inpatient services (higher support needs) in a safe and caring environment. The hospital also offers specialised services for people with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), including Level 2 ABI rehabilitation, Low Secure ABI and Medium Secure ABI services, delivered within a structured setting.

There is also an acute service which specialises in the assessment, treatment and stabilisation of individuals in crisis or suffering from significant mental health problems.
