Main duties of the job
As a Care Assistant at Barchester, you'll support residents in a compassionate and dedicated environment. Your role includes assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and sharing memorable experiences. You will undertake various tasks including supporting residents with food and drink and personal care, while maintaining care plans and ensuring personal attention. A can-do approach, along with excellent communication, empathy, and compassion, is essential for delivering high-standard care. Previous experience in eldercare is preferred, and training will be provided to help you thrive in the role.
