Job summary

The Care Assistant will play a vital role within the Care team at Sunridge Court, providing person-centred support to residents and helping them feel safe, respected and valued. This is a 12-month fixed-term position working an average of 38.5 hours per week on a two-week rolling rota, with 12-hour day shifts from 8am8pm, including some weekends. The postholder will support residents with personal care and daily routines, provide companionship and emotional support, encourage independence, choice and dignity, and assist with meals, activities and wellbeing. The role also involves building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues and working as part of a supportive team to deliver high-quality care. Previous care experience is welcome but not essential, with full training provided.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a kind, compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our team at Sunridge Court in Golders Green on a 12-month fixed-term basis. You will build meaningful relationships with residents and provide the practical and emotional support they need to live well each day. You will work closely with colleagues, residents and families to create a warm and supportive environment where people feel valued.
