The Role
We’re recruiting for a Stakeholder & Engagement Manager here at Justice Digital, Data and Science to be part of our warm and collaborative Strategic Engagement team.
This is a pivotal coordination and engagement role, focused on improving how we communicate about the products and services we build, and the outcomes we deliver. You will work at the centre of engagement and communications within Justice Digital, Data and Science and have a dedicated focus on a specific business unit area connecting delivery teams with central communications functions to ensure the right information is available, aligned, and used effectively.
You will play a key role in improving the visibility of delivery and impact, and in ensuring stakeholders have a clear and consistent understanding of priorities and progress, as well as blockers and the support we need to remove them.
This is not a standalone communications role. Instead, it focuses on coordinating, shaping and enabling engagement and communications activity within the specific business area.

Key Responsibilities:
Surface delivery progress and outcomes, and shape narrative
Proactively identify key delivery milestones, priorities and impact
Translate complex delivery activity into clear, accessible messaging and outputs
Maintain forward visibility of upcoming activity to support proactive engagement
Coordinate with communications teams
Act as the interface between a specific delivery area within Justice Digital, Data and Science and the central Justice Digital, Data and Science Strategic Engagement team.
Provide high-quality, timely content and context to support communications planning and delivery
Ensure alignment of messaging across teams, stakeholders and end users
Commission and coordinate inputs
Coordinate inputs from delivery teams to support engagement and communication needs
Commission briefings, artefacts and supporting materials where required
Ensure consistency, accuracy and quality of outputs
Manage stakeholder relationships
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Act as a key point of contact for engagement relating to delivery activity
Support joined up working across teams, including with partner organisations
Enable reuse and reduce demand
Develop and maintain a repository of key materials (e.g. briefings, slides, case studies)
Ensure materials are accessible and reusable to reduce duplication
Support responses to information requests effectively and efficiently

Person Specification
Essential
Strong experience of stakeholder engagement across complex organisations
Strong experience of working in a matrix / interface / business partnering environment
Ability to translate technical and delivery detail into clear, meaningful messaging appropriate to different audiences
