Unit Cadet LeaderPolice

To lead a Police Cadet Unit with support from Assistant Cadet Leaders, with a focus on encouraging the development of young people through the Volunteer Police Cadet (VPC) Service. To take responsibility for the smooth running of units, liaising directly with the Cadet Coordinator within Prevent Hub. To ensure that Cadets are safe, that all safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to and actioned together with appropriate risk assessments where necessary. Align cadet programme and activities with force priorities: Being visible & engaging with communities Focusing on the basics of crime fighting, preventing and reducing crime Providing an excellent service to victims Honour and promote the understanding and implementation of the Code of Ethics – ‘ Doing the right things, in the right ways, for the right reasons ’, with both Cadets and Assistant Cadet Leaders.
