Our Dementia Services provides a day centre group for individuals living with mild to moderate dementia. Our clients, who live either independently or with family members, enjoy a social setting where they can engage in activities such as music, singing, arts and crafts, and quizzes.

This is a role that requires a special type of person; You will have the commitment to care, the dedication to people, as well as the communication and organisational skills to support our clients.

Qualifications and skills:

experience in a similar role within dementia services or social care

strong communication and interpersonal skills.

ability to supervise and support a team effectively.

knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.

The role

The role involves supervising and supporting the Dementia Services Team in the daily operations of the service, ensuring a social day centre approach that promotes independence and inclusivity for clients with mild to moderate dementia.

Responsibilities include leading the daily team meetings, providing feedback, maintaining service documentation, and conducting ongoing client reviews.

The role also involves supporting staff meetings, maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding practices, and building effective relationships with partners, team members, clients, and carers.
