The Deer Shed is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chef to join our café team in Alfreton Park. This is more than a chef role. Alongside preparing high-quality food for our café, catering events and wholesale customers, you will support and inspire young people aged 19-25 with additional needs as they develop catering, employability and life skills.

What you'll do

Lead food preparation and kitchen operations.

Develop menus and maintain excellent food standards.

Support and coach young people in catering and workplace skills.

Create a positive and inclusive kitchen environment.

Help young people build confidence and achieve their potential.

Experienced chef with strong kitchen skills.

Positive, organised and able to work in a busy environment.

Passionate about supporting and developing others.
