Job Description

Overview

The London Borough of Harrow is seeking a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to join its Resources & Innovation Directorate within the Digital, Data and Customer Experience Division. This pivotal role places evidence at the heart of decision-making, supporting Directors and managers with high-quality performance and management information to drive service improvement and better outcomes for residents. Working as part of a dynamic Business Intelligence Team, you will provide expertise in data collection, collation, analysis and interpretation, ensuring insights are presented in clear, accessible formats for a range of audiences. You will contribute to strategic planning, performance management and research projects, spotting emerging trends and supporting data quality across the organisation. With a career-grade structure offering progression opportunities, this hybrid role combines independent working with collaboration, enabling you to influence service design and delivery. If you are passionate about using data to shape decisions, thrive on problem-solving and innovation, and want to make a real impact in a forward-thinking council committed to its values of Be Courageous, Do It Together and Make It Happen, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career and help transform services for Harrow’s residents. This is a role supporting the Adult Social Care department specifically and so any prior experience of working with and/or knowledge of data in this area would be helpful.

Proven experience in research involving data handling, analysis, and interpretation.

A clear understanding of the diverse nature of Harrow’s communities and the implications for strategy and performance development.

Experience working with Local Authority or similar data to support evidence-based decision-making.
