What will you be doing?

Help Kent's businesses start, grow and thrive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a B2B Marketing Officer to support our Economy services in Growth and Communities.

We're looking for a creative and commercially minded marketing professional to join our IBI Creative team, supporting some of Kent's most important business, skills and economic growth programmes. You'll help connect businesses with funding, training, investment, employment support and growth opportunities through engaging campaigns and content.

Working within IBI Creative in the Innovation and Business Development Group, you'll lead the delivery of digital marketing and communications activity that promotes business support, skills, employment, investment and regeneration programmes across Kent. You'll create content, manage campaigns, analyse performance and provide marketing advice to help services reach and engage business audiences effectively.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across a varied portfolio, developing marketing campaigns that make a genuine difference to businesses across Kent. No two days are the same. One day you could be producing a business success story, the next managing an email campaign, creating social media content, filming a short video or advising stakeholders on how best to reach their audience.

This role would suit someone with strong digital marketing skills, excellent content creation abilities and a passion for delivering campaigns that support businesses and economic growth.

What you'll be doing

Developing and delivering marketing and communications campaigns for Economy services and programmes.

Creating engaging content for digital channels, websites, newsletters, email campaigns and social media.

Managing and growing business-focused communications channels.

Using audience insight and campaign performance data to improve engagement and results.

Working with service leads, partners and stakeholders to develop effective marketing solutions.

Producing case studies, articles, graphics and video content that bring business success stories to life.

Supporting projects that contribute to economic growth, skills development, investment and regeneration across Kent.

What we're looking for

You'll be an experienced marketing or communications professional with a strong understanding of digital marketing and content creation.

You'll also have:

Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.

Experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns.

Strong social media and email marketing experience.

The ability to analyse performance data and turn insight into action.

Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Why join us?

You'll be joining a creative, collaborative team that supports high-profile services and projects across Kent. We embrace innovation, encourage new ideas and give people the freedom to develop their skills and make a real impact.

If you're passionate about creating effective marketing that delivers measurable results and helps businesses succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
