General Manager - Cwmbran Stadium
Are you ready for an exciting career step with Halo Leisure?
We are seeking a high-energy General Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven culture.
Working in leisure is dynamic and fast-paced, especially at Halo — an award-winning social enterprise and registered local charity operating 33 facilities across Herefordshire, Bridgend County, Gloucestershire, Merthyr Tydfil, Shropshire, Torfaen, and Wiltshire.
Halo centres are vital community assets that are actively used and highly valued by local residents.
We thrive on the opportunities created by our social mission, driven to provide inclusive health, fitness, and wellbeing activities for people of all ages and backgrounds.
This role offers an exceptional opportunity to develop and expand your leadership skills during an exciting period of growth for the organisation.
Located in Cwmbran, Cwmbran Stadium is one of our flagship facilities and a beacon of excellence, serving diverse demographics and meeting key community needs.
With a gym membership base exceeding 2,300, there is immense scope to lead and build upon the site’s continued success.
The centre features a vibrant coaching and activity programme, alongside a popular café and soft play facility, presenting further growth potential across our service offerings.
Given the facility's strong reputation and unique location, this post is an outstanding career step for an ambitious leisure professional.
We are looking for a motivated leader who wants to drive commercial success, enhance community impact, and help this facility continue to flourish.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Cwmbran Stadium and supporting broader regional goals. You will also have the opportunity to lead strategic projects that advance both your personal development and organisational success.
You will bring a proven track record of management and leadership experience—ideally gained in a customer-facing leisure environment—alongside ambition, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous growth.
This position serves as an excellent stepping stone toward future Area or Regional Management roles.
In return, we offer a supportive working environment, guidance from an experienced line manager, structured training and mentoring schemes, and an inclusive workplace culture designed to support your career trajectory.
