Our Vacancy

We are looking for an experienced Voids Working Foreman to join our team, supporting the delivery of a high-quality voids programme across Kent and the East Sussex border. This is a hands-on role where you'll combine your trade expertise with leadership responsibilities, helping to ensure homes are returned to a lettable standard safely, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.

What You'll Do

As a Voids Working Foreman, you will lead by example, carrying out void repairs while supporting the wider team in delivering an excellent service. You'll work closely with supervisors, planners, operatives, and residents to ensure work is completed to a high standard, maintaining compliance, promoting health and safety, and helping to keep programmes on track. You'll also play an important role in mentoring colleagues, supporting new starters, and driving continuous improvement across the contract.

What You'll Need

You'll have a proven trade background, ideally with multi-skilled experience, and a good understanding of building maintenance and void processes. Alongside excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills, you'll be confident using handheld devices and managing workloads in a fast-paced environment. A full UK driving licence is essential, while experience within social housing, relevant trade qualifications, and SSSTS or SMSTS certification would be advantageous.

Why join us?

When you join Peabody, you’re joining a team guided by our values, Be Kind, Do the Right Thing, Love New Ideas, Celebrate Diversity, Keep Our Promises, and Pull Together. We believe in creating a workplace where everyone feels supported, included, and empowered.
