About our school

Lift Beacon High is a school where young people can realise their dreams and ambitions. It is a school where we believe in whole education; success in exams is crucial but so too is developing the whole child. At Lift Beacon High, high expectations and strong relationships go together. There is a real warmth within our school. We are creating calm, purposeful classrooms; a culture where attendance matters; expert teaching; reading and literacy at the heart of learning; and a rich programme of opportunities beyond the classroom. One of our great strengths is our size.
