This full-time post is available immediately until on a 2 year fixed-term basis. Applications for secondments will be considered subject to agreement from your current line manager.

The starting salary will be from £51,258 to £54,367 on Grade G, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Please note this role is subject to a DBS check. At the University of Exeter, we are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We expect all our staff to share this commitment.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Wellbeing Services Operations Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to assist in both the strategic and operational management of the Wellbeing Service. The post will focus primarily on staff support and management, upholding service delivery standards, overseeing key case management issues and taking forward service strategy and policy priorities. The role involves close working with a broader range of colleagues and partnership working with external agencies. The role holder will be expected to support out-of-hours colleagues and be involved in the management of critical incidents, along with the current Operations Managers and Assistant Director.

We are looking for a skilled and proactive professional with experience in service development and management. You will have a strong understanding of student support, mental health and wellbeing, ideally gained through experience in both support services and health-related settings. You will bring knowledge of best practice in service delivery, partnership working and the management of complex wellbeing concerns. In return, we will provide an exciting, varied and rewarding role within a supportive team, committed to providing the best possible experience for our students.
