Part Time Teacher (0.6 FTE, temporary in the first instance) up until 31 August 2027

Pen-y-fai Church in Wales Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and reflective Part Time Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive school community.

The successful candidate will:

Demonstrate high-quality classroom practice with a strong commitment to pupil wellbeing and progress

Support the Christian ethos and inclusive values of our Church in Wales school

Work effectively as part of a collaborative staff team

Show commitment to professional learning and development

This post is suitable for both experienced teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) who are keen to develop their practice in a nurturing environment.

Welsh Language

Welsh language skills are desirable for this post. Support and development opportunities are available.

Safeguarding

The appointment is subject to an Enhanced DBS check with barred list and satisfactory references. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
