The LSE is seeking to employ a Sustainable Operations Officer. The post holder will be an integral member of the Sustainability Team within the Estates Division, working closely with Facilities Management, Capital Development and Residences colleagues to embed sustainable practice across the School’s operations.

Understanding of environmental management systems, standards, and legislation, including ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and Duty of Care requirements for waste

Experience maintaining and analysing environmental performance data, with the ability to produce accurate management information for internal and external reporting (e.g. SECR, HESA, EMR)

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including contractors, staff, and students

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritise effectively, and maintain accurate compliance records

We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working and excellent training and development opportunities.
