We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Electrician/Caretaker to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and developing our school site.

Friendly and supportive working environment

A role where you can see the positive impact of your work every day

Every light fitted, safety check completed, and improvement project delivered helps create a safe, inspiring environment for our students, staff, and wider community.

You will take lead responsibility for electrical maintenance across the school estate whilst also supporting the wider caretaking and facilities function.

Electrical Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

Carrying out electrical repairs and maintenance across the school premises

Emergency lighting inspections and testing

PAT testing

Undertaking and coordinating five-year fixed wiring inspections

Maintaining lighting systems on the school's 3G pitches where accessible

Supporting energy efficiency projects

You will also work closely with our IT and Operations teams to support:

New data cabling installations and trunking

Mounting TVs, screens, projectors and other AV equipment

Installation and maintenance of CCTV systems

Additional access control points and associated electrical works

Fibre infrastructure projects

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

Holds relevant electrical qualifications

Has experience carrying out electrical maintenance and fault finding

Takes pride in delivering high-quality work

Is proactive and practical in identifying solutions
