We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team and contribute to an exciting programme of immunological and infectious disease research. The successful candidate will develop research questions within a defined scientific context, undertake independent research and analyse complex qualitative and quantitative data from a range of sources. You will have the opportunity to generate original ideas, build on existing concepts and contribute to the development of new research projects and funding proposals, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the Department and partner institutions.

You will be responsible for managing your own research and laboratory activities, planning and coordinating experimental work to support the successful delivery of defined projects. You will also support collaborative projects, organise and delegate activities where appropriate. Coaching colleagues in specialist methodologies and contribute to the Department and University’s public engagement and widening access activities is also a key part to the role.
