Both Cyber Security and Software Engineering are developing rapidly at The University of Salford. Our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are experiencing significant growth. We are seeking to expand and develop the core team of academics working in this area to both extend our academic activity and further develop our links with industry.

Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking a Cyber Security and Software Engineering domain expert who are highly motivated, independent, and passionate about research and teaching – capable of producing high-quality, impactful research outputs as well as delivering inspirational and engaging teaching and supervision of undergraduates and postgraduates, driving strong outcomes for students.

The ideal candidate will have already gained a PhD in Computer Science, Cyber Security and Software Engineering or a related topic and have some experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
