Priory Beverley House has an opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our team.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Mental Health Nurse, youll take the lead in assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care, supporting both the physical and mental health needs of our patients. Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, youll build trusting relationships, promote patient choice and dignity, and ensure care is delivered safely and to the highest clinical standards.
You will also:
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care, assessing, planning, implementing and reviewing care plans in partnership with patients and their families.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, monitoring patient wellbeing, responding to changing needs and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Take responsibility as Nurse in Charge when required, prioritising and delegating duties effectively while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Support, supervise and develop junior staff and student nurses, contributing to clinical governance, quality improvement and high standards of practice.

Priory Beverley House, Edgbaston, Birmingham is a level 2 rehabilitation service for females with complex mental health needs, including emotionally unstable personality disorder, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
