Main duties of the job

Barchester Healthcare is looking to recruit a Regional Customer Relationship Manager. This is a permanent position based in Bedlington. The role offers a competitive salary plus commission and car allowance. The purpose of the role is to support the region in increasing occupancy levels in Barchesters first-class care homes. As a sales professional, the successful applicant will work with an exceptional management team to ensure the success of the care homes in the region. Barchester is an industry-leading care provider known for high-quality care services. The role includes managing enquiries, improving conversion rates, achieving occupancy targets, networking with the local community, and supporting marketing activities. Key responsibilities also include analysing data using applications like Salesforce, maintaining a contacts database, and providing tours to potential residents. The ideal candidate should have proven sales and marketing experience, be self-motivated, target-driven, and possess strong interpersonal skills. A full UK driving licence and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.

NEED TO DO: Represent Barchester and our state of the art home in a friendly and professional manner. Responsible for all sales activity for the home. Talking to potential new residents over the phone, and providing informative and welcoming tours of the home. Engage with residents and relatives to understand their experience and requirements. Respond to sales enquiries. Actively generate leads and identify local marketing opportunities. Maintain a contacts database.
