Were looking for a Pharmacy Technician Medicines Management to join our friendly pharmacy team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Southampton. Youll work closely with the Site Lead Pharmacist and wider multidisciplinary team to deliver a high-quality, patient-focused pharmacy and medicines management service.

Main duties of the job
No two days will be quite the same. Youll support the safe and effective management of medicines across the hospital, including dispensing, procurement, stock control and medicines reconciliation. Youll also support patients with their medicines, contribute to medicines management audits and controlled drug processes, and work collaboratively with clinical teams to continuously improve pharmacy services.

About us
Youll be a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician with an NVQ Level 3, BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent pharmacy technician qualification. Youll bring post-qualification pharmacy experience, good knowledge of medicines management, and strong organisational and communication skills. Youll be reliable, enthusiastic and comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team. You'll also be an Accredited Checking Technician (ACT), or willing to work towards the accreditation.
