We're seeking a enthusiastic and passionate individual for this operational leadership role with experience in eating disorders and/or mental health. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of a specialist service, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and recovery-focused care for individuals experiencing eating disorders.

You will work collaboratively with patients, families and carers, multidisciplinary colleagues, and wider system partners to deliver joined-up care pathways and improve service provision. You will bring a positive and innovative approach to leadership, embracing opportunities for service development, quality improvement and transformation.

You will have previous operations management experience and be committed to continuous professional development, service evaluation, and delivering meaningful outcomes that reflect the needs and experiences of our service users. You will play a key role in supporting staff wellbeing, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring the service continues to meet the highest standards of care.

Lead a community-based, recovery-orientated mental health team ensuring that all resources, including staff, are used and monitored effectively while remaining within an agreed budget.

Actively participate in planning and developing the team, to provide service users with a person-centred approach relevant to their needs and a recovery focus.

Exercise your own judgement in complex situations relating to service delivery or organisational matters and have a high level of autonomy day to day to make the necessary decisions.

Foster effective links and partnerships, both internally and externally, to deliver safe care to a cohort of patients with many complex health and social needs.

To actively monitor performance, quality, safety and service development within their service areas, in line with Locality and Trust-wide policies and protocols.

Lead and support strategic and operational planning for specialist service areas within the locality.

Ensure effective day-to-day management of operational and clinical services.

Provide strong leadership to deliver high-quality, inclusive, and patient-centred services.
