About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic grade 3 Campus Customer Support Officer L2 Apprentice, to join our IT support team for 2 years apprenticeship programme.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, and an interest in working with a wide range of hardware, software, and operating systems including Windows, Mac, and Linux. Applicants should demonstrate a willingness to learn, work both independently and as part of a team, and develop an understanding of IT service management processes within an ITIL-aligned organisation.

About You

The Successful applicant will be required to:

Customer Service with Customer Satisfaction as the driver.

Respond to and resolve customer IT requests and incidents.

Diagnose and fix all desktop equipment from PCs, tablets, laptops, audio visual equipment, Apple Macs, Unix workstations, telephones, and other peripheral devices.

Work in collaboration with trained staff and provide ITS support.

Investigate and resolve queries.

Learn role and support CCS support teams.

Permanently based onsite and some travel might be required.

Produce and review process documentation.

Be flexible, approachable and willing to learn.

IT Services department at the University encompasses a range of services including project management, infrastructure support, application development, technical assistance, research, and relationship/account management for both staff and students.
