Shape the Future of NHS Talking Therapies (TT)
We are seeking an exceptional leader to join Hampshire & Isle of Wight NHS TT at a time of significant transformation and growth. This senior role provides strategic, operational, clinical and professional leadership across a large and complex service, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, evidence-based psychological therapies for people experiencing anxiety, depression and other common mental health difficulties.
You will lead delivery of national NHS TT standards and targets, oversee quality, workforce, governance and financial performance, and drive innovation, digital transformation and service redesign. Working closely with system partners, you will develop strong relationships across the NHS, Primary Care, voluntary sector and wider Integrated Care System.
We are looking for an experienced senior leader with a relevant doctoral or equivalent professional qualification, registration with an appropriate professional body, significant NHS TT experience, and a proven track record of delivering performance, transformation and service improvement. You will bring expertise in evidence-based therapies, clinical governance, workforce leadership and financial management.

Main duties of the job
To provide strategic, operational, clinical and professional leadership across a large and complex service portfolio, including:
Lead the delivery of national NHS Talking Therapies objectives and performance standards.
Ensure the delivery of a safe, effective and high-quality service.
Be accountable for operational performance, quality, workforce, governance and financial sustainability.
Ensure delivery of all NHS Talking Therapies national standards, performance indicators and contractual requirements.
Lead major transformation programmes aligned with NHS priorities, Integrated Care System objectives and the NHS Long Term Plan.
Drive innovation, digital transformation and service redesign to improve access, patient experience and outcomes.
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with ICB's, Primary Care Networks, voluntary sector organisations and system partners.
Foster a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, staff wellbeing and professional excellence.
Contribute to the strategic development of mental health services across the wider healthcare system.
Lead a culture of clinical excellence, quality improvement, research and evidence-based practice.
Whilst this is primarily a strategic leadership role, you will maintain professional and clinical credibility through highly specialist consultation, supervision and clinical leadership activities, ensuring the service remains grounded in contemporary practice, lived experience and evidence-based care.
