We are proud to be delivering specialist neurorehabilitation at our service in Chislehurst, supporting adults aged 18+ with post-acute and long-term neurological conditions. This established service offers a slower-stream, goal-led approach to rehabilitation, ensuring that each resident receives care and therapy tailored to their individual needs and pace. Our focus is on enabling meaningful recovery and maximising independence, with residents supported to work towards achievable, personalised outcomes.

Our site features a fully equipped therapy room, therapy kitchen, and gym, alongside welcoming communal spaces that encourage social engagement. Conveniently located near local amenities and transport links, we support residents to reintegrate into the community wherever possible.
You will join a dynamic multi-disciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, collaborative care in a supportive environment that encourages professional growth. There are also opportunities to attend our Blackheath site for collaboration with other Occupational Therapists, training and supervision, helping you to further develop your skills and expertise.

Job description
Our standard working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. However, we understand the importance of a positive work-life balance, and therefore, if you require some flexibility to better suit your personal or professional needs, we encourage you to discuss this with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences where possible.
- Provide highly specialist OT interventions for a complex caseload in your specialist area
- Keep up to date with new treatment methods and be actively involved in research projects relating to specialist area
- Evaluate effectiveness of service and carry out audits where required
- Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary team colleagues
- Provide support and guidance for junior staff and advice with complex cases where necessary assisting in the treatment of such cases
- Be responsible for department training and contribute to training and development of all staff
- Ensure risk management and safety procedures are in place for the OT Department and adhered to
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues, visitors, and carers
- Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights
