Are you an enthusiastic and motivated, customer-focused Service Desk Engineer? IT Services at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit to their busy team based at Willerby Hill.
Working 37.5 hours a week between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, the successful candidate will provide the first point of contact for all IT-related incidents and service requests. The majority of support is provided remotely, with an element of in-person support for customers who bring equipment to the department.
The post also offers opportunities to join our Out of Hours rota.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have:
- Prior Service Desk experience, with a minimum of 1 year.
- The ability to provide excellent IT support for Microsoft software, with an emphasis on Windows 10/11 and Office 365.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively, both in writing, verbally, and in person.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- The ability to write technical documentation for the Service Desk Knowledge Base.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to work in a busy, pressurised environment.
