Radiology provides services to the county from 10 sites in state of the art facilities with modern equipment using the latest technologies.

About the Role:-

Based at one of our new community diagnostic centres, your role will be to work within and lead the team of clinical imaging assistant working throughout Radiology at the community diagnostic centres. T

Provide materials management for stock and non-stocks, ensuring a continuous supply of goods, in line with the Trusts materials management system.

You will need the ability to travel across sites independently due to cross site travel. Radiology Pool Car available for use.

Main duties of the job

To provide effective support to Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers and Nursing Staff including assistance with procedures to deliver Radiology services 7 days per week.

To supervise clinical imaging staff on a daily basis, ensuring training and development needs are met and staff adhere to the Trusts required behaviours and policies.

To coordinate rotas (including annual leave / low level absence) for the relevant team.

Provide materials management for stock and non-stocks, ensuring a continuous supply of goods, in line with the Trusts materials management system.

To ensure all goods receipting is completed accurately and to time for all non-stock items. To be a point of contact for Supplier/NHSSC enquiries

The operating hours of the service will range between 07.30 hrs to 20.300hrs. There may be a requirement to work longer days.

Shift patterns may vary over 3, 4 or 5 days and will incorporate weekend working.

This vacancy requires an excellent communicator, able to deal with people on all levels. They should be empathetic and level headed and able to cope with situations as they arise. The role is varied and evolving and the person appointed will become a key member of our team.

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.

The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
